Redundancy is not only the end of a journey,
but the start of a new one

Supporting your career transition every step of the way

At SKC London, we are here to guide you to recognise future opportunities ahead, to prepare and equip you with the skills you need to grab new opportunities with both hands, and to provide the support you need to do so with confidence and control.

Everything you need to know…

How does SKC London’s outplacement programme work?

At SKC London, our tailored outplacement programme is designed with you in mind. We have developed a series of 11 1:1 modules to give you the skills and knowledge you need to successfully move forward in finding new employment. Our aim is to enable you to be a highly desirable and employable candidate ready to confidently take the next step in your career.

How will SKC London build my personal 1:1 support programme?

Before you start, we will arrange an initial consultation with you to discuss everything from how you are feeling about the journey ahead, to your current knowledge and experience of the job market. We will decide together which modules we think are most relevant to you, then plan the programme and module delivery that works best for you. Depending on the level of programme, you can select anything from three to five modules.

Who will deliver each of my modules?

You will be matched with one of our Career Coaches depending on your specific requirements, and are delighted to be working with three coaching specialists. Workplace Consulting Specialist Allie Warren delivers Neurodiversity in the Workplace, while Resilience Coach Amy Moss delivers our Building Resilience module and Nadia Finer of  Shy & Mighty delivers Confidence in the Workplace.

What happens once the modules are complete?

Unlike most outplacement services, SKC London provides ongoing support after you have completed your programme. We offer three follow-up calls following the completion of your modules to chat through anything we might be able to help you with regarding your job search, aiming to put you in good stead to move forward positively.

Although we are based in London, most people choose to complete their 1:1 modules via video call online, so you can be anywhere in the UK to complete each module.  You alternatively have the option to meet face to face at our friendly central London offices in Soho. It’s entirely up to you, and if you choose to do some modules online and some face to face, that’s fine!

Where will my support programme be delivered?

Are there other services that SKC London offers?

You are welcome to register with one of our recruitment partners at our sister company Bis Recruit to help you with your job search. Additionally, should you choose to undertake modules in confidence or neurodiversity, both our experts Nadia and Allie offer further support through their own businesses which they can chat through with you.
